Welcome to Quincy Youth Basketball's
Quincy Youth Basketball is now accepting registration for the 2017-2018 season.
Quincy Youth Basketball, Inc. is a non-profit youth sports organization, organized and administered by Quincy parents and families of current and former youth participants. We offer experienced, adult coaches and set locations and schedules for practices and games. All games are scheduled for specific gyms and are played one game at a time per gym. Practices and games are held in various Quincy public school gyms on Friday evenings and games are each Sunday.
We focus on smaller Teams for Grades 3 through 12. This allows each player the opportunity to fully participate during the games and receive excellent skill development at practice. Practice is one hour per week on Friday nights beginning in mid-November. Games begin the first Sunday in December and continue into March for playoffs. All games are officiated by IAABO certified referees. The fee for Grades 3 through 12 is $135 and includes instruction, games, and game jersey.
The Under 8 Duffy League for first and second graders is an instructional, boys and girls program that focuses on the fundamentals of the game of basketball for the first part of the season and games for the second part of the season. Teams are limited to no more than 12 players and include one to two adult coaches per team. The fee for Grades 1 and 2 is $80.00 per player and includes instruction and practice shirt. Practices and games are one hour a week on Saturdays beginning in mid-November and continuing into February.
We offer an introduction to basketball for Quincy Kindergarteners. It is structured and fun.
QYB Travel Divisions for boys Grades 4-8 compete against the cities and towns of the South Shore. Tryouts will be held in October/early November. Tournament programs organized by our parent volunteers are sponsored for girls.
